DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY FOR 08 NIGHTS & 09 DAYS

Guwhati – Itanagar – Ziro – Daporijo – Along – Mechuka-Pasighat – Dibrugarh

Day 01:  Guwhati

On your arrival at the Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our representative and guided to your hotel. Freshen up yourself at Hotel for visit to Kamakhya temple.After prayer at temple,return to Hotel.You can spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can use this time to explore the nearby regions, taste the local street food, communicate with the locals, etc. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02 : Guwahati-Itanagar

 Have Breakfast at the hotel, set out for Itanagar the capital city of Arunachal. Itanagar is a very beautiful hill station. As one approaches the town, one is awed by the beauty of tropical evergreen rain forests meeting the temperate Himalayan jungles. On one peak is the residence of the Governor while on the other there is a new Buddhist temple. The slopes are occupied by the shops, bazaar, old huts, and new administrative buildings.Enjoy overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03 : Itanagar-Ziro

 After having breakfast, pay a visit to the Museum and the local market. Later leave by road for Ziro. Ziro is a picturesque town, which is located 115 km from Itanagar, the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh. It has been a favourite town for World Heritage Site for a number of years now. In a meeting of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on 12 December 2002 it was shortlisted for inclusion in the Tentative List for further nomination to UNESCO for inscription in the World Heritage Site.The part of the town which is the centre of economic activities and where the administrative offices are located is called as Hapoli or locally known by the Apatanis as “Hao-Polyang”. Perched at an altitude of 1500 m above sea level, Ziro has hills that are beautifully covered with bamboo and pine trees, surrounded with paddy fields. The town is home to a very friendly tribal group known as the Apatani tribe.Overnightstay at Hotel.

Day 04 : Ziro-Daporijo

 After having breakfast drive to Daporijo,the headquarter of the Upper Subansri district of Arunachal Pradesh. Nestled on the shores of the beautiful Subansiri River, Daporijo, blessed with an aesthetic natural splendour of bamboo rainforests, lush paddy fields and enchanting waterfalls makes for a great hideout for nature lovers, adventure enthusiasts and soul seekers alike. Overnight stay at hotel/homestay.

Day 05 : Daporijo –Aalo

Have breakfast and head straight to Along the headquarter of the west Saing district of Arunachal Pradesh. Formerly known as Along, Aalo sits as the headquarter of the West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh and makes as a great holiday destinationin North east India for people looking for immense peace, tranquillity and solitude. The town is blessed with stupendous natural scenery sprinkled with beautiful orange gardens, swaying millet & buckwheat plantations and serene valleys. Two beautiful rivers, Sipu and Yomgo meandering right through the heart of this little hamlet, truly add to its picturesque charm and provide for a great time to passionate photographers offering them ample opportunities to capture nature in its most unpretentious form.

Day 06:Aalo-Mechuka

Early morning after breakfast,start for Mechuka. Mechuka is a famous destination in Arunachal Pradesh for exotic tribes and the scenic beauty it engulfs. The other name for Mechuka is Menchukha. It is a small town nestled above the sea level in Mechuka valley. It is home to Memba, Ramo, Bokar and Libo tribes. The natives are the followers of Buddhism, Donyi-Poloism and Christianity. With time Mechuka has become a famous tourist destination because of its historic as well as religious significance. The beauty of River Siyom, locally known as Yargyap Chu is yet another reason for its fame. It is one of the most picturesque destinations in the North-East. It is the forgotten paradise on earth with untouched natural beauties. The main tourist attraction is a 400-year-old Buddhist Monastery which is located at the hill top. The culture here is formidable and extravagantly full of colours. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 07:Mechuka-Aalo

Start your morning with breakfast, then visit for local sightseeing.After Local sightseeing we will start our journey back for Aalo.Reach Aalo by evening and overnight Stay at hotel .

Day 08 : Aalo-Pasighat

 After breakfast drive towards  Pasighat the headquarter of East Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh. Pasighat is the headquarters of East Siang district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Situated at 155 meters, Pasighat is the land of the mighty Siang and indigenous hanging bridges. Round cane rings, swinging strings, shattered wooden pavements dangling above the mighty Siang makes it a picture perfect moment of thrill and adventure.The pleasant waterfall graces the mountain cliffs and chills the vicinity. The musical tumbling sound of the water, the cool breezes procreating from the waterfall dips down the temperature. The songs of the birds, the fragrances of the forest after the rains are simply overpowering. Later in the day pay a visit to the local market. Overnight stay at Hotel .

Day 09 : Pasighat-Dibrugarh

 After breakfast, Set for transfer to to Dibrugarh Airport/Railway Station to board a flight/Train onward to Delhi or Kolkata
