DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY FOR 08 NIGHTS & 09 DAYS

Tinsukia(Dibrusaikhowa) – Digboi -Margherita – Changlang – Meow(Namdapha National Park)-Roing-Mayodia-Annini-Dibrugarh

Day 1:  Dibrugarh – Tinsukia

Arrive at the airport of Dibrugarh. On arrival, start your road journey towards Tinsukia. After reaching, check-in at the hotel. Have lunch and leave for sightseeing around Tinsukia. You will cover the Railway Heritage Park,Bell Temple and Na Pukhuri.. In the evening, take a stroll in the local market. Overnight stay.

Day 2:  Tinsukia(Dibru Saikhowa)-Digboi/Margherita

In the morning, after breakfast, explore the beautiful Dibru Saikhowa National Park. Dibru Saikhowa National Park is one of those places which boast of a rich collection of flora and fauna, many of them endangered. It is one of the few remaining protected sites in the Endemic Bird Area of the Assamese Plains.Dibru Saikhowa National Park is a river island national park and one of the 19 biodiversity hotspots in the world. This National Park is situated 12 km north of Tinsukia in Assam. Of the seven parts of the park, one is a wetland and the rest is mainly covered with grasslands and dense forest. Animal life to be viewed in their natural habitat includes royal Bengal tiger, hoolock gibbons and leopards, it is also home to some restricted-range species, such as the White-winged Wood Duck, Bengal Florican, Lesser Adjutant Stork, spotted-billed Pelican, White-bellied Heron, Pallas’s Fish Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Jerdon’s Babbler, Black-breasted Parrotbill and Striated Grassbird. Marsh Babbler, Swamp Prinia and Yellow Weaver. There are no roads and hence no jungle safari or elephant rides for roaming in the park, so you can explore the park only by boat service which can take you to various spots. Guijan Ghat and Saikhowa Ghat are the national park’s entry points.Return to Hotel for overnight stay at Tinsukia.

Day 3:  Digboi/Margherita-Changlang

In the morning, begin your road journey towards Changlang. On the way, witness the beauty of Digboi and Margherita. Finally you reach Changlang. Overnight stay at Changlang.

Day 4:  Changlang – Miao

In the morning, start your road journey to Miao . On the way, you will witness beauty of coal field,tea garden and forest of Dehing Patkai.Overnight stay at Miao.

Day 5:  Miao-Namdapha National Park

Post breakfast; begin your journey towards Namdapha National Park .Explore the beauty of park. This national park is the only national park in the world which covers a wide range of altitudes of 200 – 4500 mts. It is also the only park where four of the cat felines are found, tiger, Leopard, snow Leopard and the clouded Leopard.  Evening back at Miao Hotel.

Day 6: Miao-Roing

 Post Breakfast,begin your journey for roing.Enroute visit roing zoo. Chekin at Hotel.Evening free for leisure.Enjoy the nature with Mountains,dense vegetation, beautiful river and bird charm.Night stay at Hotel.

Day 7:  Roing-Mayodia-Tinsukia

Post breakfast, visit Mayodia. Mayodia, the magical land of snowfall is fast becoming a hit with tourists. It is located in the Upper Dibang Valley of the North Eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a gateway to the Indo-China border and is located at an elevation of 2,655 m above sea level. If you wish to see snowfall, then flock to this place during the months of January and February. In this region, snowfall stars in November and continues till April. Mayodia derived its name from a Nepali girl, Maya, who disappeared in the snow and could never be found.By evening, return back to Tinsukia.Overnight stay at Hotel in Tinsukia.

Day 8: Tinsukia-Parsuram Kund(Tezu)

Post breakfast,start your journey for Parshuram Kund. Parasuram Kund with mesmerizing view is situated within the Kamlang Reserve Forest area. This place on the Lohit River carries a strong mythological link with the legend of Parsurama, a Hindu sage. According to the legend, sage Parsurama washed away his sin of matricide in the waters of the Lohit river at Bramhakund. Each year thousands of pilgrims from all over the country congregate on Makar Sankranti day, to wash away their sins. A fair (mela) is held during this period.Overnight stay at Tezu/Parshuram Kund Circuit House/Hotel in Tinsukia.

Day 9: Departure (Dibrugarh Airport)

After breakfast, Set for transfer to to Dibrugarh Airport/Railway Station to board a flight/Train onward to Delhi or Kolkata
