DAY 01:Johannesburg

On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport after clearing customs and immigration and picking your luggage proceed to your hotel (Check-in after 1500hrs). Overnight in Johannesburg.

 

DAY 02:Johannesburg – Port Elizabeth – Kwantu Private Game Reserve

This morning you drive to the Johannesburg airport to board your early morning domestic flight to Port Elizabeth. Upon arrival, relax in the Vehicle as you are driven to Kwantu Private Game Reserve, nestled in the Eastern Cape. The Eastern Cape is home to Africa’s ‘Big Five’ – elephants, rhinos, buffaloes,lions and leopards. The Kwantu Private Game Reserve is described as ‘the complete safari experience’. Overnight at the Kwantu Private Game Reserve.

 

DAY 03:Kwantu Private Game Reserve – Garden Route

This morning, proceed for an early morning game drive inside the Kwantu Private Game Reserve. Later you drive to the Garden Route’, a scenic stretch of the south-eastern coast of South Africa, stretching from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River. Enroute there is a stop at The Bloukraans Bridge in Tistsikamma National Park where you have a chance to bungee jump off one of the highest Bungee-jump bridges in the world (On your own).Overnight on The Garden Route.

 

DAY 04:Garden Route

Today, after breakfast you proceed to Oudtshoorn. Enroute there is a stop at Cango Caves, where you are taken to see the first two chambers. The stalactite and stalagmite formations are an incredible sight. You then proceed to Cango Wildlife Ranch, where you can discover a variety of animals seldom seen. Venture into Crocodile enclosures, visit Snake Park and Cheetahland. Next there is a visit to an Ostrich Farm where you will get a chance to see these magnificent birds. Overnight on The Garden Route.

 

DAY 05:Garden Route – Cape Town

Today, we check-out and continue our journey by coach along the Garden Route to Cape Town. Also known as the ‘Mother City’ in the Western Cape, Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa and has a cultural heritage spanning more than 300 years. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful regions in the world, perched between the ocean and the mountain, with a national park as its heart. Overnight in Cape Town. 

 

DAY 06:Cape Town

Today after breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Cape Town with its majestic Table Mountain backdrop. See the Houses of Parliament and the ‘Tuinhuis'(President’s Office), the Company Gardens, St. George’s’ Cathedral and the Malay Quarter. Visit the world-famous Table Mountain, (weather permitting).Overnight in Cape Town.

 

DAY 07:Cape Town

Today you will be taken to visit the Cape of Good Hope. Your tour takes you to the fishing harbor of Hout Bay, from where you take a short cruise to the Seal Island. You also drive via the Atlantic Coast to Cape Point. Marvel at the view of the southern-most tip of South Africa. You then take a funicular ride up to the lighthouse to truly absorb this majestic view. Then visit Boulders Beach, situated just after the picturesque village of Simons’s Town. This beach has a healthy population of African Penguins because there are fewer predators on this part of the coast. Overnight in Cape Town.

 

DAY 08:Return Home

Today you take your flight home. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your SIDDHIKSHA Tours & Travels.
